The EasyPass program provides eligible Peralta students with an AC Transit bus pass that is valid at any time on all AC Transit lines, both local and transbay.
The Fall 2009 EasyPass is valid from August 17, - January 28, 2010.
All qualified students will be notified by their Peralta email when their EasyPass is ready for use.
- If you already have an EasyPass, you will not get a new card. Your old card will be activated remotely to work for the Fall 2009 EasyPass program. You will receive an email in your Peralta student email box that will tell you when your card is ready to go.
- If you have never had an EasyPass before, you will be notified when and where to pick up your EasyPass card. You will receive an email in your Peralta student email box alerting you when your Pass is ready for pick-up.
All Peralta students are required to have a Student ID and a photo on file before you can get your EasyPass - if you have not already done so, you must go to one of the following photo locations at your Home College and have your photo taken for your Peralta Student ID and your EasyPass:

All Fall 2009 Peralta students with 9+ units can receive an AC Transit EasyPass!
Last spring, 88% of voting Peralta College students joined UC Berkeley and Mills College students by approving an AC Transit EasyPass program to benefit Peralta students. Any student maintaining 9+ units can ride any AC Transit bus at anytime.
Whether you ride the bus everyday, just a couple of times a week, or only occasionally, you will get value from the EasyPass. You are also making a green difference by reducing your carbon footprint.
The Peralta EasyPass is offered to eligible students for only $31 per semester—that’s $1,500 less than the AC Transit 31-day transbay passes.
The Fall semester EasyPass is valid August 17, 2009-January 28, 2010.
Check your Peralta student email for more information about EasyPass!
How do I get my EasyPass?
Already have an EasyPass? If you take 9+ units and you have paid your student fees, you’ll be eligible for the Fall semester EasyPass. Your current EasyPass will be activated remotely, so you will not get a new card.
New to EasyPass? If you’re taking 9+ units and you have paid your student fees, you’ll be eligible for the Fall semester EasyPass. If you don’t have a Peralta student ID, you’ll need to get one before you can get a Pass. Your new EasyPass will be sent to your home college.
Check your Peralta student email address for more info about your EasyPass. You’ll get an email when your Fall semester EasyPass has been activated or is ready for pick up.
The Fall semester EasyPass is valid August 17, 2009-January 28, 2010.
You can ride all AC Transit lines with your new EasyPass card. Hop on to any AC Transit bus. Whether you ride the bus everyday, just a couple of times a week, or only occasionally, your EasyPass will save you money!
Use your EasyPass and drive less. By driving less, you’ll be driving fewer miles annually, which may result in lower insurance premiums. Call your insurance company to update your annual mileage basis.
Driving less also means more gas in your tank. Look at this fuel savings calculator to estimate your annual gas savings once you start using your EasyPass.

Even better than driving less, the EasyPass can enable you to go “car-less!” If you add up the savings from gas purchases, vehicle maintenance, licensing fees, traffic and parking tickets, and auto insurance premiums, you’ll really see how much you can save by using your EasyPass.
The Fall semester EasyPass is valid August 13, 2009-January 20, 2010.
