Counseling
Academic counseling is available to assist every student with things like academic guidance, student education plans, class selection, career exploration and assessment, pre-req clearances, academic progress support, degree petitions, and so much more. We suggest visiting a counselor at least once before a semester begins, but you can schedule a visit with a counselor for any academic-related reason anytime you need help. All students are welcome to take advantage of counseling services at all 4 of our campuses: Berkeley City College, College of Alameda, Laney College, and Merritt College.
