We are here to help move you toward your academic dreams

If you have chosen a major/program of study at one of our four Peralta Colleges that has an Associate Degree for Transfer (AA-T or AS-T), we have changed your major to one of our associated ADT degrees to guarantee your admission to one of the 23 California State University (CSU) campuses.

The ADT pathway will allow you to complete lower-division general education requirements for CSU transfer and provide you with CSU graduation benefits after transfer. If you make a change to your educational goal and/or program of study after August 1, 2024, we may reach out to help you clarify your pathway

For more information on how this may affect your path forward, contact the Counseling staff at your college:

College of Alameda Counseling
Berkeley City College Counseling
Laney College Counseling
Merritt College Counseling

and visit the transfer Center site for your college

  • Contact Financial Aid office to understand the costs of attending college and to see the resources that are available for you
  • Search ADT Major & Campus Search to see which CSU campuses offer similar programs to the ADT program at LBCC.
In order to obtain an ADT, you must apply for graduation at the beginning of your final semester at Peralta.

What do I need to do now?

Please schedule a meeting with your counselor to develop an educational plan via the links above

I met with a counselor and we created an educational plan. How do I access the Educational Plan?

To review the new educational plan, please view your educational plan in Campus Solutions

I have no interest in transferring. May I change my major back to the traditional AA/AS/Certificate program?

Yes! You will simply meet with a counselor to update your degree objective. Follow the links above to counseling at your College.
