Effective January 1, 2024, Oakland’s minimum wage rate is $16.50 per hour.
This minimum wage rate applies to the district office, Laney College, and Merritt College.
Effective July 1, 2024, the minimum wage for the City of Berkeley increased to $18.67 per hour. Please ensure that the eFORM’s for these hourly, classified employees and student workers at Berkeley City College (BCC) reflect the correct pay rates.
Effective July 1, 2024, the minimum wage for the City of Alameda increased to $17.00 per hour. Please ensure that the eFORM’s for these hourly, classified employees and student workers at College of Alameda reflect the correct pay rates.
